The produced SO2 from S combustion that is found in fuel oil burned by energy plants or large steam production units, is oxidized partially to SO3 which has immediate and harmful consequenes both to the plant efficiency and the environment.

How to Use:

Spraying magnesium hydroxide powder(Fire Retardant Magnesium Hydroxide) or paste for immediate neutralization of SO3 and partially SO2. In the application magnesium is the most suitable reagent, because, besides stoichiometric advantage, as depicted on table, its(Fire Retardant Magnesium Hydroxide) main competitor CaO can not be used due to the formation of gypsum which creates hard deposits, blockage problems and other unite operational problems.
